Making a Wish Come True

Not too long ago I was approach by Ronald McDonald House Charity to help a young girls wish come true! Whitnee has Ehlers-Danlos Syndrom (EDS) a life-long, genetic condition where her collagen is defective. This defect weakens the connective tissue throughout her entire body allowing it to stretch beyond normal limits. Essentially it has been Whitnee's dream to visit Hollywood, see some behind the scenes of movie/T.V. show sets and do a photo shoot in the area. Whitney loves old Hollywood and her favorite actress is Audrey Hepburn. How Fun! I immediately said yes to this project and brought together the best team I could find and booked the Beverly Hills Hotel for our shoot location!  It was such a joy to be able to see her and her family have so much fun and to make someone feel as special as they truly are! I'm happy to be able to have created these images for the foundation and family and wanted to be able to share them with you too!

It’s something we see every day – children healing because they’re surrounded by their families. And while RMHC may not be able to make the medicine taste better or erase the pain of a much-needed treatment, they can help lessen the burden for nearly nine million families each and every year. Since 1974, their network of local Chapters have been making children happier and healthier by keeping families together – giving them a place to rest and refresh. A place that feels like home. These programs, tailored to meet the urgent needs of each community, can now be found in more than 62 countries and regions across the globe.
